We have had about 150% of normal snow this year so far.  About 50% of the ground still has snow cover.  Where melted the mud depth is up to 4 inches deep and then I hit ice.  We had 16 inches of snow cover last week and it melted during the week.  There was some sheeting of the runoff and some minor flooding, but most seemed to go in the ground or evaporate.  All of the reservoirs I can get have water, which is different than the last 3 years when none had water.  I think our soil moisture in fairly good in our pastures.
