Description:
Another dry week saw just a few flakes of snow one day; otherwise skies were generally partly cloudy and temps were warm. More open water is becoming visible in the local streams, rivers and lakes. Moose continue to be visible around the immediate area and the wild birds continue to mob my poor little window feeder. The warmth of the sunlight increases on a daily basis. The vernal equinox occurs this afternoon at 13:24 which is in keeping with the thus far warm spring. Everyone I talk to is more than ready for spring which I find somewhat puzzling as we really did not have a 'hard' winter...
