Soil conditions are about the same as last week but, slightly drier. Rainfall for the week 0.16", other moisture for the week was very heavy dew which was measure in the rain guage. 0.01" on 9/17, 9/21, and 9/23. Fall allergies are still moderate due to golden rod, ragweed, and tree pollen. Trees are starting to change color. The vegetable garden is pretty much done, except for fall vegetables (Tomatoes, squash, and Brussell Sprouts). St Lawrence River level is dropping a little more rapidly this week. Level is 21.1" above Low Water Datum (LWD). This is down 4.3" from last week. Water temperature is 68.9 deg F down 1.3 deg F. for last week.
