Some mowing and watering was witnessed.  Air Quality Good to Moderate, with the exception of some counties in Western Iowa.  Active burn bans-19 counties.  Windows and AC were used.  Leaves are continuing to fall in colors, red was seen this week.  Decrease in animals/birds/insects.  Overall mood-Rain relief much appreciated.  Noteworthy Events-9/22/2023 Tornado Warning alerts on weather radio twice.  Flash Flood warning was also issued.  Thunderstorm watch and warning currently in place for most counties in the state as of today’s report.
