Soil moisture on the dry side.  Flower beds with poppies needed to be irrigated.  St. Augustine grass is showing signs of greening up.  Landscape trees and shrubs have adequate moisture but no rain is expected for the coming week.  Area drainage ditches have some to no water in them. Red swamp maple trees are full of colorful winged seed.  Red oak tree has started to leaf out.  Mayhaw trees continue to bloom.  Native mulberry trees have leaves and flowers.   There were a few sulfur butterflies looking for open flowers to feed on but not much is available.  Maypop tree root-sprouts are appearing.
