daffodils are coming up with a few blooming; our two deer are bigger; grass is high enough to mow and very green; lots of moss in grass this year; hellebore plants are blooming beautifully; creek is flowing well; had very large ponds/puddles on our forest walk, but dried up quickly; small ponds/puddles still appear in farm fields; juncos and chickadees feeding on suet we made; hummingbirds still active through the winter, one-quart feeders empty in about 2 weeks
