Description:
Week of (2/18/24-2/24/24) observed less precipitation compared to last week. The precipitation during this week was a total of 0.17 inches. This amount of precipitation measured was less than the last update of a total of 0.42 inches for the previous week of (2/11/24-2/17/24). There is currently 0.65 inches for the month of February compared to the normal climatology precipitation at KROC airport for the month is 1.80 inches. There was 2.9 inches of snowfall that had been recorded for the week of 2/18/24-2/24/24. There is currently 11.2 inches of snowfall that had been recorded for the month of February compared to the normal climatology accumulation snowfall at KROC airport is 19.9 inches. Conditions had remained the same since the last update for last week. There wasn't enough measurable moisture received this week for conditions to be improve, but not gotten worse. The ground has still been very dry. Evergreens are turning dry and the creek water level next door is low due to the lack of moisture. Sump pump hasn't been pumping due to the ground being dry. No snow plowing from the service has taken place this week with not enough accumulating snow for plowing  during the week. Winter recreation is on pause for now with no snow currently on the ground unless man made, but no snow is good for hiking on trails.
