Precipitation has come regularly enough lately that conditions are still edging back to the normal side again. Now it seems that anytime we get rain over 0.10" it pools in the yard and comes into the basement, so the soils seems to be close to saturated. Temperatures are running the spring roller coaster - it seems like it is warm one day and cold the next quite often.  A lot of birds we usually see in Spring are finally arriving - robins, and even orioles, but the juncos haven't departed yet, so they must know something we don't (more snow?). The first flowers have been popping up too, mostly grape hyacinths, crocuses, and the neighbors have daffodils.
