We saw more sunny days the past week than cloudy but we still managed to get 0.94" of rain across three days. Temps warmed quite a bit with a high of 67.4° F yesterday amidst abundant sunshine and slight SE breezes. The birch trees are pollinating like crazy and most horizontal surfaces have a yellow/green hue from their pollen. The wild birds remain active and I again heard loons on Question Lake Saturday morning. However, the moose remain MIA but should soon appear with spring calves in tow. Some of the larger, deeper lakes still have some ice coverage although that is fading fast. Without question, spring is here and the deciduous trees bear witness as their leaves begin to develop and unfurl!
