Notes
Monday was a transition day from our warm sunny weekend back to winter. The morning was mostly sunny and mild with a high temperature close to 50 degrees but by mid afternoon it was cloudy with strong gusts of wind and a temperature drop to about 40 degrees. Snow began about 4 pm but did not continue. The measurable snow fell during the night or early this morning. Our current temperature is 32 degrees. It is not snowing now but there is heavy cloud cover. The tube was overflowing so the core sample of the 9" is more accurate! Wow! The wind has begun to pick up.
