I collected observations from neighbors as I came home 50 minutes after the hail storm. Also received 0.33" rainfall in this approximate time period. Still was able to measure 5/8" hailstones (largest) left in the grass 50 minutes after the storm had subsided. I'm guessing that these largest stones likely were up to 3/4" in diameter. (Wind from NW) |
