Notes: About 50% ground coverage in flower beds. Most hail was 1/4 to 3/8 in size and was a mixture of round and flattened. Some hail was flat on one side and convex on the other side, other stones were convex on both sides. Largest stone was 3/4" and was a flattened disc, convex on both sides, with rough protrusions around the "equator" of the flattened disc - very interesting and very pretty. I marked "Continuous" but there was a short interval of a couple of minutes between the first 5 minute hailfall event and the next, heavier, event that lasted an additional 10 minutes. The lull in hail was just enough time to make my first Sig Wethr report. I did not preserve any hail, but I did take some closeup photos of a few of the individual hail stones.
