Notes: Pad Blown away in the storm no # count available, hail varied in size and constancy and was intermittent during this storm. I observed soft hail that created slush spots on my truck cab that were the size of quarter. Impact reminded me of snow ball splattering at impact. I also saw hard hail of mixed size at the same time. Hail impact dimples were later observed only on the trunk lid of my car and on the aluminum topper of my truck - Light in frequency and minimal in depth. Two Strong storms came through this am back to back only the the first produced hail - rain started @ 4:40 am with heaviest rains starting at 4:50 lasting 30 minutes, hail started @4:55 lasting 15 minutes rain ending at 5:40 AM this storm produced 0.42 inch of rain This storm produced high straight line winds, some hail and heavy rain. The winds were estimated to be 70 to 75 mph, confirmed by local reports and the NWS. total rain for the two storms was 0.57 inch
