No hail pad out. The event began with sharp-edged cumulonimbus clouds, then moderate rain, changing to heavy rain and soft hail, changing to mixed size hard hail. Accumulation in the grass was noticeable but not full coverage and not of great depth (more like one 'layer' of hail settled into the grass). We caught some hail and have it frozen in the freezer. |
