Notes: 2 storms from 2 different directions met and staled over North McAllen, and microburst of hail in a limited neighborhood area. Plus we had 4.72" of rain, which may be an under_estimate as hail may have clogged collector. We had wind gusts reported in excess of 70 mph in the area. Video of storm damage available from TV5 (ABC) KRGV. Broken trees, our Oak for one, and broken fences. We had hail stone drifts 3 feet high and had not fully melted after 24 hrs despite a high temp of 89F. I've been in a hurricane, this Hail storm was worse.
